Originally from Ireland, Louise followed her fashion career to London where she worked as a buyer for Topshop and Anthropologie. In pursuit of a slower pace of life she relocated to Suffolk with her family where she now works as a studio potter.
Working out of her home studio, Louise finds inspiration in the beautiful Suffolk countryside and the many talented and creative people around her. Texture, attention to detail and colour all form the basis of Louise’s vision.
Louise makes functional pottery designed for everyday use. Each piece of pottery is thrown by hand from a textured clay which is left to dry slowly before being biscuit fired, glazed and fired again to stoneware temperatures.
